Light design as a new standard of living

As part of the Circle of Light Festival’s educational programme, MARCH Architecture School and L1 Group are organizing a round table entitled ‘Light design as a new standard of living’. High-quality lighting has ceased to be a luxury, it’s the new norm of life. Equally, a lighting designer is no longer a mysterious occupation, but a new norm of projecting. Requirements set for high-quality lighting environments are becoming progressively tougher, transforming the profession and the entire lighting industry.
Practicing experts – lighting designers, architects, equipment manufacturers – will discuss the new trends in their professions, as well as training and development in lighting design.

Natalia Markevich
A practicing lighting designer. Curator of the ‘Lighting Design’ course at MARCH Architecture School.
