An open source code for media installations: a critical analysis of media projects – Ksusha Chekhovskaya (INTERVALS festival)

Can an algorithm be developed for prepping a successful media installation, from filing a proposal to presenting it at a festival/exhibition or a competition to an appreciative crowd? Following her experience of organizing INTERVALS, an international media arts festival held in Nizhny Novgorod that gathered an audience of 20000 in 2019, its curator and producer Ksiusha Chekhovskaya thinks it can be.
This lecture is going to offer an insight into how to critically analyze media installations, as well as practical advice on how to pitch your ideas.
