Creative technologies: how to get into the business and become a professional – Denis Akopov (Izzy.team)

A contemporary visual show is virtually inexistent until creative production engineer gets on the case. They are the ones projecting the scenography and creating the media content, transforming space with the magic of light and sound. The stage to them is a canvas, and digital technologies coupled with a whole array of auxiliary tools enable them to create dynamic scripts, special effects and optical illusions. A creative production engineer is equally skilled at working with the software environment, projection equipment, and human emotions. This creative, interdisciplinary and progressive profession is gaining popularity, as festivals and showbiz boom. An entertainment night is no longer conceivable without light installations, video mapping, and lasers, just as AR and VR have become an integral part of our lives.
Denis Akopov (Izzy) will talk about how to master creating visual technologies, how to make your first professional steps and how to get into the business. If you are studying tutorials and going to trainings in an attempt to figure out how it all works but are not quite there yet in terms of putting theory into practice, then this lecture is for you!
