The Circle of Light VIII Moscow International Festival will be held from September 21 to September 25 at seven venues of the capital: Grebnoy Channel, Tsaritsyno Park, Teatralnaya Square, The Museum of Great Patriotic War on Poklonnaya Gora, Kolomenskoye park, Mir Concert Hall, Digital October Center. For the first time in the history of the Circle of Light, the most visited place of the Nagatinsky Zaton becomes a part of the festival. The residents of district asked the mayor of Moscow to include the Kolomenskoye park into the program of the brightest event of the Moscow autumn. And now for five nights the Kolomenskoye will shine bright with the magic light of festival.

The Kolomenskoye museum-reserve will turn into the Lukomorye, filled with fairy-tale characters - a place where children's dreams and fantasies come true. Muscovites and guests of the capital will plunge into the world of extravaganza, meet the heroes of favorite fairy tales and become spectators of theatrical performances. Every evening from 19.30 to 23.00, by the help of the lighting technologies and the video mapping art, a huge territory of the Kolomenskoye museum-reserve will transform into a park of wonders. At the behest of dwarves, the magic trees with golden fruits will grow there, Cinderella’s carriage will turn into a pumpkin, and Ole Lukoye will invite the audience into the color dreams. The visitors to the festival will walk along unexplored paths and will find themselves in mysterious glades with revived phantasmagoric masks and wondrous animals.  

Several routes will be laid along the Park of Fairy Tales. The area of more than one and a half hectares will be filled with light installations and video mapping shows on the facades of buildings of the former royal residence. Among the groves and orchards of Kolomenskoye Park guests will see the Chinese shadow theatre, where monk fights a dragon, the magical meadow filled with many twinkling lights and the gothic castle with a Sleeping beauty within its walls.

Kolomenskoye - Park of fairy tales awaits its visitors on September 21-25 from 19:30 to 23:00. All performances are held in a cyclic mode.
